A lot's been going on these past few months, so I haven't been on DA at all!
But today I've got some spare time, so I thought I'd come and update everyone on what's happened in the world of Amy...
The biggest news is that Adam and I had to move out of the house we were renting into a new place, because the owner has plans to renovate. So, we were given notice, and had to start looking for houses. We were knocked back on a few applications, probably because of Zak (our dog - landlords tend to opt for tennants without pets), but finally we were approved for a house in Ruse. Surprisingly, it's the best one out of all the ones we looked at...it's huge! 2 storey, 4 bedrooms (all with built-ins) a rumpus room, 3 bathrooms, a fireplace and bar in the lounge room...the backyard has a rock garden, and is lanscaped, and there's all these stairs because it's on a slope and has 3 different levels to it. It's the coolest house I've ever lived in!

We're only paying $280 a week in rent for it, too, so it's a bargain. The only bad thing to come from moving is that I've misplaced the usb cable for my camera, so it's been a hassle transferring photos from my camera to my computer, because I have to have them put onto a CD before I can access them on the computer to edit them. I'm still looking for the cable, but its been nearly a month and a half, and so far no luck

if worst comes to worst, I'll be buying a replacement when I have the money and time...
The next news is that I had a birthday almost a month ago...so I'm officially no longer a teenager

...it still sounds weird when people ask how old I am and I say "20"...I'm so ancient! lol
To celebrate, Adam and I drove up to the Hunter Valley (I've been seeing footage of the flooding, and I can't believe it!). We did a lot of wine tasting (got slightly drunk off it, too

), tasted some cheeses as well, and then Adam took me to one of the wineries restaurants, Jack's Grill. I had the best day, because I've never been to the Hunter, or wine tasting, and I was really impressed with how pretty everything was, including the different wineries...they all have their own individual architectural style and feel to them, so each one you visit leaves a different impression in your mind that you can match to the wine itself.
So, that's a basic round-up of what's happened since I was last here...hopefully I'll be editing and uploading photos again soon

I don't like leavng so much time between my DA visits...I'm going to try and make time to check back at least a couple of times a week so I don't miss out on anything
Thanks for reading if you got this far, I know it was a lot of writing
